Roop Nivas is the name of our accommodations at Kismet Estate Winery, created in honour of our late grandfather, Jagroop, known as Roop to many. The name carries a deeply personal meaning for us. Roop speaks to beauty, form, and grace, while Nivas means home, residence, or dwelling. Together, Roop Nivas represents a beautiful home created in honour of someone whose presence remains an important part of our family story.

Kismet has always been rooted in family. In gathering around the table, welcoming people into our home, sharing food and wine, and creating a sense of belonging. Roop Nivas carries that spirit forward and gives us a new way to welcome guests into the Kismet story.

Set among the vineyards of Kismet Estate Winery in Oliver, Roop Nivas is a place to slow down, stay awhile, and experience the South Okanagan at a different pace. With ten private guest suites and a spacious 11 bedroom Estate House, Roop Nivas is designed for everything from a quiet weekend escape to a getaway with friends, a wedding weekend, family gathering, or group retreat.
